Established in 2017 and tucked away in a quite southern suburb of Canberra, The Mustang is quickly becoming a place to dine among local people as well the visitors from all around the country. This top rated Nepalese Restaurant in Canberra prides on its traditional Himalayan style cooking and warm Nepalese hospitality along with attentive customer service. The menu also includes options for dinners with various dietary requirements such as Vegetarian, Vegan & Gluten- free.

From authentic Nepalese dishes such as Thali Set (Daal-Bhat), MO:MO:s (Nepalese Dumplings), Chicken Chilli, Chicken Choila etc to other popular sub-continent food items like Butter Chicken, Palak Paneer, Malai Kofta and Lamb Rogan Josh, The Mustang brings you the authentic flavour of a nice blend of aromatic spices from various regions of the tiny but well-known Himalayan country.

The restaurant is nicely decorated with various imported traditional Nepalese items such as musical instruments, paintings, hanging-lights, spice displays, wooden sculptures etc to provide you with a Nepalese Vibe. With the space for about 100 dinners, The Mustang can also be a venue for your next special event or party.

The Restaurant is fully licensed, BYOs are also welcome but wine only and there is a small corkage charge per bottle. Our drinks menu includes varieties of regional and local wines, traditional yoghurt drink – “Lassi” as well as Nepalese beers all the way from Himalayas.
