Welcome to Luniva Momo, an exciting and authentic Nepalese restaurant based in the centre of Armidale. We opened our doors to customers in 2018 and have been introducing locals and visitors to the unique flavours of Nepalese dishes ever since. We were inspired to open our restaurant to accommodate for the multicultural nature of this town.

Our Nepalese cuisine comprises a variety of cuisines based upon ethnicity, soil and climate. Dal-Bhat-Tarkari is considered one of Nepal's national dishes. Dal soup is made of lentils and delicious spices served over boiled grain Bhat- usually rice and vegetable curry (Takari). We recommend new visitors try some of our favourite dishes, these are Traditional Newari Set, Samay Baji, Chicken Chilli, Luniva Himalayan Soup, Roti Takari and Goat Curry.

You could also try Momo, one of the most popular foods in Nepal. A Nepalese style dumpling filled with minced meat in flour dough. Originally filled with buffalo meat now more commonly being served with goat, chicken and veggies.

Many international students reside in Armidale to attend university and our restaurant offers them delicious flavours that taste like home.
